Each reflection should be no more than 300 words in length and should include the following:
1. A discussion of how the topic impacts population health (i.e., why is it important?) Be specific in your answer and be sure to include WHO is affected and state reasons WHY this is of public health interest. (Note: If it is a historical case, state how this impacted population health and changed current practice — in other words, why is it important?) (3 points)
2. Whether you think that this public health issue is being/was handled effectively and what you would recommend if you were a stakeholder or decision-maker (3 points)
3. An example of how information in this week’s topic connects with Cross-Cutting Themes in Public Health or other classes in the MPH curriculum, your past experiences or knowledge of the issue, previous cases, or historical relevance. Integrate new information that you have collected or researched if applicable. (3 points)
