Respond to the prompts accordingly, considering course content. While you are not required to make specific
references to readings, your response should reflect the themes and ideas of that day/week’s readings. These
assignments should take you no more than 15 minutes.
Take 10-15 minutes to search the term “icon” on the internet. Look at a variety of sources. While it might be
helpful to start with a simple dictionary or Wikipedia search, go beyond those standard sources. Explore images,
hashtags, twitter, instagram, book titles, tv shows, etc. After your search, write a brief (~100 word) overview of
what you found. Include links and images if necessary. When you are done, explore what your fellow
classmates have come up with.
