A comparative study into encountering racism in English and Italian Football
It is expected that all projects will comment upon:
(i) The specific geography of difference and identity you examined (i.e. your empirical research topic and your
findings)
(ii) Your research methods and/or a reflection upon the implications of difference and identity for conducting
social research in this context, or indeed the implications of the conclusions of your projects for conducting
social research (e.g., what does your project tell us about positionality? About voice? About writing about
difference? About power in research relations?)
(iii) The relevance of your project to theoretical understandings of difference and identity in geography or
beyond (what does your project say about conceptualizing or theorizing difference and identity? This is the
place to discuss your research questions and findings with regard to the theoretical literature).
