Please answer the following two questions in 300-400words.

1. In the era we are covering this week, several significant changes to denominational structures take place, in both the MEC and MECS. What are the most important changes for the long-term development of the denomination? What made them possible in this era?

2. Women, in both the MEC and the MECS, take on new initiatives and push for ordination in this era. What broader contextual issues make this a particularly important time for Methodist women? How much ground did they gain, and why do you think they were unable to win more rights in the church?
