Different variables

You just learned three ways to solve systems of equations: by substitution, graphing, and elimination. Reflect back to the Unit 7 learning objectives and think about your confidence to perform these tasks:
• Find the solution by graphing when given two equations with two different variables.
• Find the solution by substitution given two equations with two different variables.
• Find the solution by elimination given two equations with two different variables.
• Sketch the solution to a system of linear inequalities.
• Determine if a coordinate pair is a solution to a system.
In this activity, you will complete 2 tasks.

Task 1:
Answer the following questions in complete sentences and post them to the discussion board.
• Which was your favorite method and why?
• Explain how you applied this method to solve a quiz problem. Show us your work and talk us through step by step.
(Example: My favorite has always been solving by elimination. It’s like a fun puzzle, having to figure out which terms to eliminate to solve the variables mystery!)
