Scenario
In December of 2023, you were hired by Organization X as a Human Resource Consultant. Organization X is an insurance company that employs over 1,000 individuals throughout the Midwest and along the East Coast. One of the main reasons for your consulting work is because the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) has realized that the organization is having a difficult time retaining candidates due to inflexible job designs, mundane and repetitive tasks, and, too, inflexible work schedules. The CHRO has asked you, in a five slide PowerPoint presentation, to address the following:
Provide an overview of the importance of flexible jobs.
Explain how job flexibility can appeal to various generational groups.
Explain how job inflexibility has impacted the workforce. Specifically, highlight 2 to 3 statistics about the impact of job inflexibility from 2021 to present.
Your five slide PowerPoint presentation should include five slides with content. Therefore, your cover slide, agenda slide, and reference(s) slide does not count toward this required length. In your content slides, you are required to provide 2 paragraphs of notes per slide. Each paragraph must be 3+ sentences in length. Your slides should follow the 7X7 Rule.
