1. An individuals understanding of work, occupations, and having a career is interpreted or mediated by socializing agents. There are generally 12 socializing agents: electronic media, peer group, neighborhood, community, house of worship, school, family, technology, workplace, print media, the arts, and sports. Each of the agents have a slightly different interpretation of work and occupations. How has at least one of the socializing agents influenced your own career decisions? (e.g., perhaps your house of worship or spiritual leader has fostered the value that work is a calling and service to God and others).
