Advantages of the North and South at the outset of the Civil War.

Discuss the respective advantages of the North and South at the outset of the Civil War. Why did the North
prevail in the Civil War? Do you believe that the South was capable of winning independence from the United
States or was Union victory unavoidable? If the former, what in your estimation what might have turned the tide
of the war against the North? If the latter, explain why the South could not have won independence.
In my own opinion the south had no chance of winning the south had no chance of winning the civil war. The
North had a better technology advances such as better weapons, they could get more soldiers, and they had
better supply runs to be more efficient in preparing for battle. The south did not have the resources that the
north had or could get the south mainly dependent on the help from other countries which they did not get. The
North had many manufactures and industry were well established and that there supply them ammunition and
gear that they needed for war which the South did so overall the North was just more established and
prepared.
