Please answer to this questions with evidences. Some common criticisms of the executive branch are that it is bloated and inefficient and/or suffers from a lack of transparency. Choose a prominent regulatory agency of the federal bureaucracy. There are many of these, but some of the better-known examples would include the Environmental Protection Agency, the Food and Drug Administration, the Internal Revenue Service, the Federal Communications Commission, or the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Describe how the mission that Congress has established for your agency constrains the behavior of the bureaucrats in it. What methods of control do the president and Congress utilize to direct the agency (cite specific examples)? That control notwithstanding, does the agency retain its own autonomous power? If so, what are the sources of that power? Describe whether and why you think the business of your agency is sufficiently transparent. Would you prefer that the service these bureaucrats provide be privatized (explain why)? Would you make any other recommendations to improve the efficiency of your agency? Use concrete examples throughout your answer. The response should demonstrate evidence of independent research.
