Summary comment: Ideas on change are described, and discussion of Senge’s learning organization and Boman & Deal’s ‘political’ frame is provided. The organizational analysis did not really address specific artifacts, espoused values or shared tacit assumptions as you were asked to do. It is not really clear which specific organization you are discussing, and the analysis does not give a sense of what actually happens in this respect. Three changes have been identified. For Assignment 2, I think that either teamwork culture or building staff capacity around technology will be the best changes to consider.

It is problematic that no core course literature has been cited in the reference list. Whilst you have passed this assignment because some understanding of Senge and Bolman & Deal’s work has been provided, and you have suggested reasonable changes, it will be very important to ensure that you write Assignment 2 paying close attention to concepts discussed in the sessions, as well as referencing core course literature (not other literature based on core course literature). Also, make it clear which specific organization is the focus of the change. Ensure a title is included in subsequent assignments, and that your name is a header/footer on each page.
