Your team will search for print, television & online ads that use celebrity endorsers. Identify five different
companies from this search. Discuss as a team how effective the ads for each company are in achieving the
goal of reaching target market(s). Evaluate the spokesperson’s effectiveness.
Write a report (10-page max.) & create a 20-minute presentation that contains the following:

  • Brief description of the companies you chose & why
  • Background of celebrities & why you think they were selected to market the products.
  • Which celebrity spokesperson was the most effective & why.
  • Which celebrity is the least effective & why.
  • Describe the benefits & risks of using celebrities in advertisements.
  • For each company, identify a celebrity you would use instead of the current one; and state your reasons why
    you think that person would be a better choice.
