Does the “The City Born Great” characterize New York City as monstrous or vulnerable? What
does this characterization suggest? Provide examples from the text to support your ideas.
Option 4:
Pick one of the short stories we’ve read this semester and identify and explore a theme you’ve
uncovered in the text. Provide examples from the text to support your ideas.
