HCAD 650 Short Paper: Understanding the Law
Order Description
The objective of this exercise is to increase the student’s awareness and understanding of how statutes or regulations effect public health practice and policy by evaluating a current statute or regulation.
You are required to identify a health care related statute or regulation that they will then write a two (2) page discussion of describing its content and function. The discussion must include: (1) an analysis of what the law prohibits or proscribes; and (2) a discussion of how the law might be implemented in practice by a health care provider or other health care entity.
The assignment must be in APA style, double spaced, using 12-point type and be no more than two (2) pages, any assignments exceeding the page limitation will be returned to the student, unread, for editing.
