From the previous project involving the planning for birthday party, this project breaks down the plan of the work involved, into simple realistic tasks. The working period allowed is two months between End of December 2014 to End of February 2015. The schedule is broken down into 8 weeks.

The project schedule was designed using a Gantt chart as the most appropriate tool. The Gantt chart is presented in table 1 below:

In the Gantt chart, each box represents 1 week, except the last column, representing 1 day, the actual birthday, 1st of March 2015.
Budget Breakdown
The project plans for the financial budget implementation. The total expenditure for the birthday is expected to be US$ 500. This is broken down as shown in table 2 below:

The highest cost was experienced in the purchase of food followed by the cost of hiring and constructing tents. If the budget experiences further constraints, the alternative decision is to avoid hiring the tent.
