Assessment Task 1
Structured Reflective Journal Writing
This assessment task requires you to write a structured reflective journal entry of 750 words using Driscoll’s (2000) reflective framework. Please ensure you read the Reflective Journal Guide carefully. This contains Driscoll’s reflective framework and tips for how to approach your essay.
This assessment task requires you to reflect on the content of Weeks 1 and 2 in relation to a specific situation. I have provided some suggestions in this regard, and these are accessible in the content for this task. You may use the video ‘Wit’ to prompt your reflection, or you may use the excerpt from ‘Breath’ or ‘Illness: cry of the flesh’. There is also an article on gallows humour that you might be interested in using. Alternatively, you may use your own experience in the work place, if relevant. You should refer to some of the ethical concepts you have learned in Week 1 to enhance your analysis.
The reflection will be written in the 1st person as a word document and put into the dropbox for Assessment Task 1 by 3 pm on 11 March 2016.
