lmol 609/culminating experience proposal
Order Description
CULMINATING EXPERIENCE
THE PROCESS:
Describe the culminating experience you propose to accomplish in this course. (THE PROPOSAL WILL BE SUBMITTED TO THE PROFESSOR AND THE PROFESSOR WILL GIVE FEEDBACK ON
THE PROPOSAL. AFTER THE PROFESSOR HAS ACCEPTED YOUR PROPOSAL THEN YOU MAY CONTINUE WITH THE PROJECT)
Expectations
There is considerable latitude provided to students in designing the culminating experience. The project must, however, clearly show understanding of the MASTERS
ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP (MOL) coursework.
The final outcome of the project may be a paper, a presentation, a proposal or other form that best meets the needs of the project. The form of the final outcome
should be discussed with the professor who works with you on your project so that both the student and the professor will know what the project needs.
The topic or theme of the project may be industry-focused such as (a) education, (b) commercial business, (c) church, etc, or it may be concept focused such as (a)
transformational leadership, (b) mentoring, (c) communication, (d) leadership development, (e) values, (f) organizational performance, etc. The project may seek to:
(a) solve an organizational problem, (b) propose/develop a new organization or a new part of an existing organization, (c) research and write on a topic in the form of
a thesis, or (d) develop a training seminar.
Again, your best course of action to get off to a good start is to consult with your project chair in shaping and developing your final MOL project.
