1. what was the unit of observation (persons, cities, counties, years, etc.) if the observations are clustered or aggregated in some complex way, explain how they are organized. 2. what was the sample? indicate the time, place, and other criteria that specify the units that were selected. 3. describe how the independent variable was measured. 4. describe how the dependent variable was measured. 5 describe any evidence for the accuracy (validity) of the measures used in the analysis.
