  assessment of both the accomplishments and the sins and disobedience of either King David OR King Solomon as portrayed in 2 Samuel and 1 Kings respectively. Provide an initial post (approx 400 words) that considers the actions of one of these kings in light of the ten commandments and/or other principles from God's law (see especially Deuteronomy 17).
