Osteoporosis

Search for information about your disorder on sites that end with .org, .gov, .edu, or from peer-reviewed (scientific) journals. Your information should
be scientific or medical in nature and originate from valid sources without bias. Email your instructor and get your topic approved.
Each student will write a 3-page, double-spaced, paper with 1” margins and 12 point font. Please use either APA or MLA format. Add a cover page for
your title, name, course and date. Also, add a work’s cited page on the back. This will give you 5 pages total for your individual project. Submit your
paper on Online Campus “Assignments” by the due date/time: May 1, 11:59pm.
Your paper can/should include the following research:
Introduction on the disorder: what is it and how is the individual affected?
Is this a genetic disorder or does it originate from injury? Is this a rare disorder or commonly found?
Is this a disorder where the mother can be tested during pregnancy?
Is there a current treatment for this disorder, or are there any established protocols to treat the symptoms of the disorder? What are they?
What type of research is going on to find a cure for this disorder? You may include more than one if you find them.
Your paper MUST be written entirely by you, the student. This means if you gain knowledge from a source, you will cite that source in either APA or
MLA format. If you copy a sentence from one of your sources, you MUST put that quote in parentheses and cite that sentence appropriately. I fully
expect that most of your paper will contain citations (without quotes) if this material is new to you.
Merriam Webster defines Plagiarism as to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one’s own: use (another’s production) without crediting
the source. Plagiarism will earn you a zero for this assignment and may earn you a zero for the course per the syllabus.
Write your own paper and credit all of your sources.
