preliminary survey of noise level
measure noise levels (in dBA) in your day-to-day life such as in a coffee shop for one week/ 3 different times of a day. Record time, exact location of sound meter, and duration of noises observed.
Keep a record of your measurements (data table), and present a report that describes where and when you measured noise, and any comments you may have about the environment you measured (did you think it noisy, were you surprised by the measurements, other comments). Express yourself well. The presentation of the data you collect is very important.
