Task: write a 700 word (+/-10%) forensic report analysing the veracity of a statement submitted to the police. To what extent do you believe the author is telling the truth? You should base your report on CBCA though, due to word count restrictions, you will not be able to cover all the criteria. In your conclusion, you should state the extent to which you believe the author is telling the truth and which criteria, if any, are present. Make sure that you are providing precise linguistic examples from the text to support your argument throughout.
You should use Kohnken (2004) as your reference for CBCA (the reference list does not count towards your word total). This reference is provided on the final slide of week 7’s Powerpoint.
