1)You should start by picking a topic that you find interesting that focuses on the relationship between brain and behavior (hopefully VERY interesting).
2)You should conduct a few searches for articles on the topic (use library databases).
3) You should read the abstracts of at least 8 articles. I always ask and answer the same 4 questions when I read research; What did they study (hypothesis)?, How did they measure it?, What did they find (results)?, and What does it mean (to the theory)?
4) Organize the abstracts around the main points or findings, and fully read the articles you want to include in the paragraph. I usually read them twice.
6) Organize the ideas in the papers you thoroughly read – these papers support A, these papers support B OR these papers conclude A but don’t consider B, these papers point out the importance of B.
7) Write a paragraph in APA format about the organization of the ideas, you should be juxtaposing or comparing the findings of the articles to one another.
