Assignment:
Critically review a principle or set of principles from Seminar 1 in relation to your own work experience.  Your application must clearly be situation-specific.
Follow one of the following two approaches:
Use examples, background (case) descriptions from your organisational experience to explore the critical application of the Seminar 1 principle(s) to your organisational context.  Provide logical and critical review of the principle(s) and the organisational context.  Start with a clear premise related to the topic(s) and/or organisational experience and build a critical, evidence-based and logical argument that conclude with recommendations about the responsible and justified application of the selected principle(s) appropriate to a specific organisational context.
or
Use a variety of principles from the Seminar 1 to critically evaluate the strengths and challenges of T&D and performance observed in your organisation.  Start with a clear premise related to the topic(s) and/or organisational experience and build a critical, evidence-based and logical argument that conclude with recommendations about the effectiveness of the T&D and performance principles in the organisation.  In this essay you must compare and contrast principles from Seminar 1 as effective intellectual tools to analyse practices in the organisation.
For both approaches make sure that you explain and cite relevant scholarly sources related to the selected T&D and performance principles as well as ample specific, relevant and explanatory evidence from the workplace.  In-text citations and references in the reference list must at least meet APA reference style standards.
