The theories of George Kelly and Skinner for the development of personality.

Part 1Consider the theories of George Kelly (assumed in our book to be representative of cognitive theory) and Skinner for the development of personality. Are these theories incompatible as Kelly suggested? Can one be in charge of his or her destiny, while at the same time having behaviors shaped by the environment? Skinner focused on behavior because personality is not an observable construct. If you were to study personality from a behavioral perspective, how could you do this?
