- The world economic crisis that began in 2007 deeply affected the Eurozone economies and drove a
wedge between Germany and countries whose governments were at the greatest risk of default, primarily
in southern Europe. As Europe’s largest economy, and given the country’s violent past, does Germany
have a responsibility to help bail out weaker economies in order to maintain the integrity of the Euro? How
about accepting a majority of the refugees and migrants from the 2015 crisis? Why or why not? Please
