Viable defenses

If a man named Bobby gets drunk at a bar to the point of blackout and then wakes up and proceeds to

operate his vehicle, which results in him crashing his car and sustaining a serious, life-altering injury

(such as becoming paralyzed), can Bobby sue the bar? Explain your answer. Also, include in your answer

whether the bar has any viable defences to Bobby’s lawsuit.
