Violation of Title VII of Civil Rights

 

Saxton, a former employee, brought suit against her former employer alleging that she was sexually harassed by her supervisor in violation of Title VII of Civil Rights Act of 1964. The court granted the employers motion for summary judgment. After reading this case, please address the following:Discuss the reasons that the District Court in Saxton granted the employers motion for summary judgment. What does the Court of Appeals say must exist, in regard to the conduct at issue, in order to create a hostile work environment?Was there anything that Saxton could have done differently in order to prevail in this case?
