Prepare a project report of 2,500 words (this excludes references, actual regulations quoted, appendices and bibliography) on the one of the two following tasks: 1) In the light of the World Bank’s sustainable development goals, design a project report for the development of a Muslim community (with the emphasis on a developing country) based on the principles of Islamic microfinance. (i) In your answer, you should evaluate the possibility of implementing a project proposal outlining how you will implement the project proposal (30 marks) (ii) Specific reference should be made to the necessary entrepreneurial skills for successful implementation of the project (30 marks) (iii) Provide a simulation of the proposed project through which sustainability and viability of the project should be analysed (30 marks) (iv) In the conclusion, explain limitations of the proposed project (10 marks2) Critically explore the main issues that you would consider when developing micro-takaful (micro-insurance) for Islamic microfinance institutions in a developing country of your choice.
