Accounting report;
Practice Rounds Report (15 marks)
Your group is required to report on the performance and management of your company across the practice rounds. Your report will be evaluated on both how well it addresses the issues set for discussion and the presentational quality of report. Therefore, any failure to include required information or any elements of poor presentation and report writing will be penalised.
The required content sections for this report are
First Section: administration requirements content (not part of word count)
To ensure that we can identify all members of your group for the awarding of marks and to satisfy formal submission requirements of RMIT University, the first section of this report must include:
• The names and student numbers of all students submitting this assessment item.
• The name your group has given to its Practice Rounds company.
• Acknowledgement by all students submitting this assessment item that they have read and not breached the RMIT ’DECLARATION AND STATEMENT OF AUTHORSHIP’ conditions that are compulsory for the submission of work for assessment by students at RMIT.
Second Section: Review of Practice Rounds (must be no longer than 1500 words)
This is the main information section of your report. This section is to review the performance of your company across the 8 Practice Rounds and it must cover the following items:
1. Planning for and implementation of Strategy (no more than 300 words)(items to discuss include)
o outline your selected strategy and explain why you selected this strategy
? NOTE: if your business strategy changed during the Practice Rounds, briefly explain when and why this change was made, and if the change of strategy was successful.
o identify the main areas of the business that you need to focus on to implement this strategy successfully
2. Implementation of Strategy (no more than 1,000 words) (items to discuss include)
o Use tables, charts and graphs to outline the results your company achieved over the eight rounds
o Use the results to discuss, analyse and assess how successful you were in implementing your strategy
o NOTE: Any claim you make about the effectiveness of your decisions and the achievement of any strategic goals must be substantiated by reference to the relevant data in the appropriate Capstone report or Balanced ScoreCard.
3. Outline the major lessons your group has learnt about strategic business planning and decision-making(no more than 200 words). (Items to discuss here could include but are not limited to)
o how your group will improve its strategic planning and decision-making for the competition rounds.
o how your group will work better as a team in the Competition Rounds.
WORD LENGTH: the formal report, as outlined in the Information Requirements section above must not be longer than 1,500 words. Penalties apply if you exceed this word length.
• To fit into the overall word length, and also to match the requirements of each section of the report, you will need to draft and edit your work several times.

FORMAT: Use Font size 12 and double spacing. Page margins to be 2.5 centimetres for top, bottom and sides. label all graphs and tables.
