Adapting and Teaching a Lesson Order Description Course name: Teaching Exceptional Children. Assignment title: Adapting and Teaching a Lesson. Assignment Description: Lesson adaptation is a key component to success of a student with exceptionalities in an academic setting. For this activity, students will be expected to choose a disability and adapt a lesson that addresses a student’s social, emotional, academic, or vocational need. The lesson should be presented in its original format and be superimposed with the adaptation. Students should be careful to design the lesson using an acceptable and recognized lesson plan (e.g. Madeline Hunter Lesson Plan Approach). Note: A Madeline Hunter's Lesson Plan format document will be attached in this order.
