its use? Agent Orange is a substance that is used as an herbicide and defoliant. The chemical became famous when the U.S. military utilized it in its herbicidal warfare program in the Vietnam War. More than 19 million gallons of the Agent Orange were sprayed on more than 4.5 million acres of land between 1961 and 1972. Apart from affecting plants, the chemical is associated with serious human health complications, such as congenital disabilities, tumors, rashes, and cancer among others.
