Students will be required to identify how a speci?c technology or technological service
can enhance the aging experience and describe several available products or tools
which have been developed to accomplish this purpose.
Types of technologies that students may want to consider include (but not limited to):
o Electronic health records/personal health records
o Mobility enablers
o Reminder systems
o Remote sensors
o Communication devices
o Social networking services
The paper should be 5-8 pages in length (typed, double spaced, 12 point font Times
new roman, 1.5 inch margins). The paper should describe:
a) the need for the technology or service;
b) how the technology is of value to an aging population;
c) the di?erent products or services that are currently available;
d) the value of these products or services;
e) any limitations or barriers to use or implementation of these technologies
