the most rapidly evolving areas of civil liberties is the area dealing with the right to privacy. there are decades of existing case law discussing the privacy rights
of students (FERPA), doctors and patients, during police searches, and employer / employee relations. The last two decades have created a new, dramatic area of privacy
– the "Right to Cell Phone Privacy." Whether it is dealing with phone numbers, text messages, applications, photos, or a host of other issues, the utility of these
devices has created a new and rapidly changing area of debate regarding privacy. For this discussion post, I want you to discuss and explain your ideas and opinions on
this topic.
