Analytical report on solving a business problem

  Once you’ve received approval of your business proposal, you may now begin researching and analyzing your proposed topic. Research various solutions to the problem and present alternatives for each of the decisions that must be made. Analyze these alternatives and propose a detailed solution. The Research Use whatever data-gathering methods you wish to do a thorough job of gathering and comparing alternative plans. You may use primary research (interview s, surveys, and so on) and/or secondary research (library, internet, databases, and so on). The Report Use the following headings, although you may add additional headings or change the wording of the headings. Introduction, background, and problem Data-gathering techniques Research alternatives Evaluation of alternatives Recommendations The Format Type your report in 12-point type, single-spaced, with a blank line between paragraphs. A title page and an abstract must be included. There is no minimum or maximum body length, although 10 pages of written report (excluding visuals) should be sufficient to answer your analytical report topic. Remember to be concise, thorough, and direct. Your report must contain a bibliography; Appendices are acceptable. Do not include a binder.
