APPLYING THE SOCIOLOGICAL IMAGINATION

      The sociological imagination stresses the importance of the social world in our personal lives.  Relate a historical or contemporary event to your own life.  Use your sociological imagination to explain how this event influenced who you are today.  Examples of historical or contemporary events that are appropriate for this assignment can include the Holocaust (1940s), Feminist Movement (1960s), Great Recession (2008), U.S. Presidential Inauguration (2017), just to name a few.  Write a 4-to-5 page paper by following the outline below.   a.
