Authorial Voice and Setting Discussion

Analyzing the setting. How is it presenting itself? Geographical? Emotional? Confined to a single space? How is it affecting the story line? Do you detect a metaphor in the setting? Remember to paste a brief passage from the selected story (3–5 sentences, preferably) into the Discussion Area. In that same story selection—or another, if you like—select a passage (preferably no more than 3–5 sentences) that you consider indicative of the author’s strong voice, and explain why you feel this way.
