Awareness of people with disabilities

• Government - Why was the Americans with Disabilities Act passed? How about IDEA, which governs public education? Can/should these Acts be strengthened ? How? Are additional laws are needed to better protect the disabled from educational or other forms of neglect? How should information about present-day protective legislation such as The Americans with Disabilities Act or IDEA be publicized so that everyone is aware of them?
