Biko reading and de Beauvoir

Biko reading and de Beauvoir Question: Both the Biko reading and de Beauvoir reading are generally seen to represent "liberation ideologies."  Compare and contrast the two readings on a political-philosophic (NOT simply programmatic!) level.  How are the approaches similar, and how and why are they different?  If you believe that one response is more appropriate/effective than the other, explain.
