How does extended learning relate to slow reproduction? In terms of slow reproduction, how does this make great ape conservation even more problematic for anthropologists and biologists? 2. Why is the relationship between sickle-cell and malaria considered a “classic” example of natural selection? How is the sickle cell gene considered a “selective advantage” in areas endemic with malaria? Is this a perfect solution to those who are heterozygous and homozygous recessive for sickle-cell? Why or why not?
