the entire world and caused profound effects on international businesses across many different industries. Despite being more than three years since that fateful day, there are still ongoing debates concerning how Brexit will ultimately impact those involved parties. In this research paper, we will provide an analysis of how Brexit has affected global businesses based on a PEST Analysis. PEST Analysis: Political – Politically speaking, one of the main focal points for discussion around Brexit is its effect on trade regulations and taxes between Britain and EU nations. A no-deal Brexit would result in tariffs for exporters due to WTO regulations which could be damaging for companies trading between countries included in the EU before the referendum. These new restrictions have already caused some businesses to cancel their investments in their UK operations (e.g Rolls Royce). Furthermore, regulatory changes may mean legal issues with certain products or services that were formerly allowed before exiting from the EU (e.g Pharmaceuticals). Economic – Economically speaking, one area where many experts are concerned about its potential repercussions is foreign investment flows into Britain after Brexit happens; especially if it’s a no-deal situation where Britain leaves without any agreement with Europe’s governments or institutions. This means that investors might feel less confident when considering investing money into a country whose future depends so much on uncertain negotiations with other countries outside of it own borders; thus potentially leading to reduced Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) going into British firms & markets while also preventing IPOs from taking place at high volumes compared to pre-referendum times . Social – Socially speaking, post-Brexit decisions could cause long term damage when it comes to immigration laws; something which affects numerous jobs & sectors within both local & international companies operating within/outside of UK borders respectively e..g hospitality industry or IT sector depending upon availability of skilled personnel who can obtain working permits under lenient rules provided by respective countries under concern i,.e European Immigrants coming back home or vice versa etc… Additionally this could lead to heightened social tensions among different groups living within United Kingdom itself due inappropriate utilization of limited resources available leading towards further socio-economic disparities amongst citizens residing therein., Technology– Technologically speaking , technological advancement has been greatly hampered due to unclear government policies regarding whether data obtained through UK based servers will be accepted by external institutions like Google etc…..Furthermore lack of appropriate legislation regarding digital transactions/payments involving currency exchange rates/taxes/transfers etc….can create major uncertainties leading towards hampering growth opportunities related with these digital platforms whilst limiting access potential users have obtained prior too Lawful exit i,.e purchase options via payment gateways like PayPal etc….This can drastically affect user experience causing dissatisfaction eventually making them move away from use such services anymore resulting in slow progress overall technology developments globally., Conclusion: To conclude this research paper we must reiterate just how much global business have been affected by Brexit over the past few years - whether politically through changes in taxation laws or economically through reduced FDI flows - all factors combined make up a very complex situation which must be dealt with carefully moving forward . It is clear that although there were pros and cons associated with leaving EU membership , only time will tell how far reaching these impacts may become when looking at our current situation today ;especially given recent events surrounding pandemic outbreak causing additional economic stressors across multiple states worldwide
