Shi & Singh (2015) explain that medical technology has brought numerous benefits to modern civilization. These benefits, however, have come at a price that society has to pay (p. 105). Please describe some benefits and some drawbacks to the increases in medical technology in the health care field both here in the US and globally. Looking at both sides, do you think medical technology is more beneficial or detrimental to our growing health care needs? Explain your answer.
