You have been picked by organizational leadership to produce a comprehensive 12 month spending plan.
Your written document MUST incorporate the following sections.
Budget narrative – Between two and four pages double spaced. This section introduces your organization, budgetary goals, and overall spending plan. Briefly discuss your organization, for instance, are you a commercial, nonprofit, or public sector organization? Are you a large, medium sized, or small organization? What are three to five financial or budgetary goals that you have for the upcoming cycle? Lastly, set up the spending plan and tell the reader highlights about how your projected revenues and expenses will help the organization achieve the previously stated goals.
Expenses – List the major expenses categories and the projected spending amounts.
Revenues – List the major revenue streams and the projected revenue amounts.
Budget – Present your break even budget (Revenues must equal Expenses) in a table / spreadsheet format.
