The artwork must have been produced between the years 1800-2000 2. The work must be relevant to the movements/styles/topics that we have covered in this course (e.g. Harlem Renaissance, Works Progress Administration, Surrealism, Dada, Bauhaus, Pop Art, Conceptualism, etc.) 3. You may choose an artwork from an artist whose work we have covered in our class, as long the specific work you are writing about has NOT been discussed in any of the course materials this term. 4. Alternatively, you may choose to write about an artwork from an artist whose work we have not covered in our class, as long as you can make a convincing case for why their work should be included in the IMA curriculum.
