Care of the mother/newborn Teaching Plan

      Develop a teaching plan for the mother and family that identifies your teaching strategies for a topic you have chosen in a 3 to 5 pages paper. The topic should focus on the immediate care or care through the first 6 months of the mother and newborn couplet. Identify the topic you want to teach and why you chose it. Identify your patient’s learning needs (learning style, literacy, education level, age, culture, experience with the topic…). Discuss the strategies you will use to ensure your teaching is welcomed by the patient and family. Include how you will evaluate the efficiency of your teaching: did the patient and family understand the information? and what did they learn?
