Patient A:
Patient is a 42 year construction worker who has fallen from scaffold (approx. 5 metres). He has obvious dyspnoea and appears pale and diaphoretic. The patient is indicating pain to his left thigh and is lying flat on the floor. The fall was witnessed and there was no loss of consciousness. The patient is normally fit and well.
Patient B:
Patient is 32 year old female, found to be agitated. Obvious reduction in pallor and diaphoretic. Complaining of a sudden onset of central chest pain, 1 hour ago, with associated tachyponea. Pain is radiating to jaw. Patient is normally fit and well, admits to frequent recreational drug use, especially cocaine. Admits to cocaine use in last 24 hours along with alcohol.
