Chandler’s theories of strategy and structure

  Order Description       Using Chandler’s theories of strategy and structure, and scale and scope, analyse one or two companies’ evolution historically. For instance you may use Chandler’s case studies of Du Pont, General Motors, Standard Oil or British or European companies eg Unilever, Tesco, Siemens. The only requirement is that the company has been existed at least since the post-WWII period. Analyse their history and evolution, their strategy and structure and their economies of scale and scope.
