In chapter 13, starting on page 244, there is a story about a conversation between Duke Huan and Wheelwright Slab, in which Wheelwright Slab tells the Duke that the works of the sages are “nothing more than the leftovers of the ancients.” Briefly explain Wheelwright Slab’s argument.
