Christianity and Islam in West Africa

Write g about the split between Christianity and Islam in West Africa, and how countries are affected by this religious divide. Specifically, I want to be doing a mostly quantitative essay using public opinion data and other data to assess democracy and liberal ideals, and how these ideals differ between countries that identify as Muslim-majority, Christian-majority, or mixed, like Nigeria. This will focus exclusively on West Africa, so everything from Algeria and Nigeria to the Western Coast. I have already turned in an annotated bibliography, and here are the sources I used for that.
