Community Oriented Policing

You will be required to write a research paper addressing the following questions:
Is community-oriented policing a promising strategy, one that can reduce crime and disorder in communities across the country? How can it be improved to work better?
Be mindful that this is a research paper and should be based on what the “evidence” tells you and not your own personal opinion. You will notice that most of the readings for the semester come from the Community-Oriented Policing Services (COPS) website and this is a very valuable resource to you. The website is full of information and additional research on these topics.
