Wenz, Zhuyin Fuhao and Pinyin). - Compare and contrast efforts to standardize both English and Chinese and think
about why this was important or not to nation building. - Describe the situation of how English has become an international lingua franca
and consider whether or not Chinese could also become a lingua franca in the
future.
